Legendary Brazilian songwriter and maestro Antonio Carlos Jobim lived in both countries and once said - paraphrasing - that the difference between the US and Brazil (or NY and Rio) is that the US is great but sucks while Brazil sucks but it’s great.
Anyone with a sense of humor who’s spent time in both countries can understand what he meant.
But anyway, if we want to be more precise, Brazil has milder weather on average - if you don’t like the cold - and universal health care free at the point of delivery, which, despite its flaws, is a great thing if you don’t have a lot of money.
Other than that the answer is either “no” or “it’s a matter of taste”.
On most metrics Brazil does worse. Which is hardly surprising, as the US is the most powerfull country in the world.
However, a “good country” is more than numbers. I’ve met several Americans who prefer to live in Brazil for reasons that can’t be measured with numbers, such as “Brazil is more fun”, “the people are friendlier”, “the people look great” and so on.
Also, a middle class American income will make you feel rich in Brazil, there’s that too.
But no, it’s not objectively “better” in most regards.
